Rules of Play for Niagara Mega 50/50 Draw Electronic Raffle
LOTTERY RULES AND REGULATIONS
General
By purchasing a ticket in the Niagara Mega 50/50 Draw, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. All inquiries regarding the conduct, chance of winning, prizing or procedures of lotteries may be made to Hospice Niagara prior to the purchase of a ticket. All orders will be processed and fulfilled under the supervision of BUMP. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of BUMP shall be deemed correct and final. The liability of Hospice Niagara shall be limited to the purchase price of the Niagara Mega 50/50 lottery ticket.
Eligibility
The following individuals, and all of their immediate family members residing in the same household, are prohibited from ordering tickets:
· Hospice Niagara’s Board of Directors
· Employees of Hospice Niagara
· Registered gaming suppliers and employees of BUMP, its affiliates and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.
Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). Tickets must be ordered within the province of Ontario.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to allow us, Hospice Niagara, and its licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, the right, if you are a prize winner, to use and publicly disclose your name, municipality of residence, image, photograph and likeness as a prize winner in any means required by the terms of our lottery license and/or that we consider appropriate for purposes of administering and promoting the lottery, without notice, review or approval or additional compensation to you.
Tickets and Payment
The official online website for ticket sales is mega5050.ca. Tickets sold through the website are provided to the ticket holder via a valid email address. Tickets may also be sold via face-to-face sales with Point-of-Sale (POS) machines at various locations throughout the region, starting at 3:00 PM on May 13, 2025, to 12:00 PM (noon) September 12, 2025. Tickets sold through POS devices are provided to the ticket holder via printed ticket. The POS devices also provide an option for tickets to be emailed to the purchaser as long as the purchaser provides their correct email address.
Online ticket orders shall be made by credit card exclusively. No cash, cheques or debit will be accepted. POS devices accept credit card, debit or cash, no cheques will be accepted.
The Primary Ticket Purchaser may, at their option, add the names of up to two additional persons to the ticket at the time of purchase. These Additional Persons are not ticketholders and Hospice Niagara has no obligation or liability to any person named on a ticket other than the Primary Ticket Purchaser, who may or may not elect to share any win information and prize(s) with any Additional Person named on the Primary Ticket Purchaser’s winning ticket(s).
Ticket prices are:
· 1 ticket for $20
· 20 tickets for $40
· 100 tickets for $50
· 250 tickets for $100
· 500 tickets for $175
Guidelines for purchasing ticket bundles are as follows:
· Only ONE method of payment.
· Only ONE mailing address.
· All tickets in a pack must contain the same information and will be sent to the Primary Ticket Purchaser.
· It is the responsibility of the Primary Ticket Holder to share win information and prize(s) with any other person(s) associated with winning ticket(s).
All ticket purchasers must provide an email address, telephone number and a valid credit card to complete the purchase of their tickets
The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their ticket(s); however, participants do not need their ticket(s) in hand in order to be included in the respective draw(s). No refunds will be issued after commencement of the draws. The liability of the licensee shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket, which is not tax deductible. Tax receipts cannot be issued for ticket purchases.
All valid tickets included in the Early Bird Draws (including the Early Bird Draws winning tickets) will be included in the 50/50 Draw.

Draws
The Early Bird draws will take place at The Stabler Centre, 403 Ontario Street, Unit 2, St. Catharines, Ontario, at 3:00 PM on the following dates:
· Tuesday, May 27, 2025 - $10,000 cash
· Tuesday, June 24, 2025 - $10,000 cash
· Tuesday, July 22, 2025 - $10,000 cash
· Tuesday, August 19, 2025 - $10,000 cash
· Tuesday, September 9, 2025 - 2025 Silverado 1500 Crew Custom 4WD (Retail Price $74,491.30)
Tickets will be available for purchase until 3:00 PM draw dates. Ticket sales re-start approximately at 3:30 PM following the draw.
The 50/50 Draw will take place at The Stabler Centre, 403 Ontario Street, Unit 2, St. Catharines, Ontario, at Noon (12:00 PM) on Friday, September 12, 2025. Tickets will be available for purchase until 12:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2025.
All winners will be published online at mega5050.ca following the draws.
Draw Control
Ticket Fulfillment and Draw Control by BUMP.
All draws will be made using Random Number Generator (RNG) software under the supervision of BUMP. BUMP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the prize draws listed below. All draw times are approximate. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws.
Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by the professional services firm of BUMP and under licensing approval by the licensing body (AGCO).
All draws will take place at the offices of Hospice Niagara, 403 Ontario St. Unit 2, St. Catharines, ON L2N 1L5. The records of BUMP shall be deemed correct and final.

Prizes, Prize Claim and Prize Winner Notification
The prize pot will start at $100,000 and will increase as ticket sales grow. A total of 50% of gross ticket sales will contribute to the final prize amount.
Prizes will be awarded to the individual(s) named on the official ticket. All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. Winners may also be contacted by telephone and all winning ticket numbers will be posted at mega5050.ca. Prize notification letters are addressed to the Primary Ticket Purchaser. It is the responsibility of the Primary Ticket Purchaser to allocate the prize if necessary. Prize winners are asked to contact events@hospiceniagara.ca or 905-984-8766 to claim prizes.
Prize winners, will be required to provide government issued photo identification to verify prize winner and an age of 18 years or older.
Early Bird Draws Prize comprises: Four (4) $10,000 cash prize and one (1) vehicle.
One prize will be awarded in Niagara Mega 50/50 Draw. The total value of this single cash prize will be one half of the total proceeds received.
All tickets purchased will be issued in sequential order starting with number. There is no limit to the number of Niagara Mega 50/50 Draw tickets that can be sold.
All cash prize payments will be made by cheque.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Please allow four weeks to receive prize cheques. Unclaimed prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following the close of the lottery. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to, and a charitable allocation will be approved by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
Vehicle prize will be awarded as listed but may not be exactly as illustrated. Vehicle prize value is approximate and based on the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”) at the time the purchase agreement was confirmed and are independently verified by prize suppliers, as per AGCO rules. Vehicle must be accepted as awarded. Vehicle winners are responsible for the licensing and insuring of vehicles from the time of ownership.
A list of winners will be posted online at mega5050.ca. Winners will be posted within 48 hours following the draw. A printed list of winners will be available upon request. Call 905- 984-8766 or email events@hospiceniagara.ca.
Prize Winner Notification
Prizes will be awarded to the Primary Ticket Purchaser listed on the ticket. All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. Winners may also be contacted by telephone and all winning ticket numbers will be posted at mega5050.ca. Prize winners will be required to provide identification verifying an age of 18 years or older. A printed list of prize winners will be available upon request after September 12, 2025, by calling 905- 984-8766 or email events@hospiceniagara.ca.
Privacy
By claiming a prize, the winner consents to the use of their likeness/photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence and the audio/video recording (or written transcription) of the winner notification telephone call, for any publicity purposes by Hospice Niagara. Hospice Niagara respects the privacy of its lottery supporters; we do not sell, rent, or trade our supporter lists. The information we collect is used to process lottery ticket purchases, keep our supporters informed about the activities of Hospice Niagara, and ask for their support for our mission. If at any time you wish to be excluded from such contacts, email info@hospiceniagara.ca and we will accommodate your request.
Limitation of Liability
By purchasing a ticket, purchaser releases and holds harmless Hospice Niagara, the prize providers and all of their respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with Niagara Mega 50/50 or any prize won.
Governing Law
These rules and the rights and obligations and relations of the parties hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Each party hereto does hereby attorn to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Ontario.
