About the Draw
Q. What is the Niagara Mega 50/50 Draw?
The Niagara Mega 50/50 is a licensed electronic lottery in support of Hospice Niagara. Individuals purchase tickets for a chance to win early bird prizes and a grand prize jackpot. The lottery is licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and administered by Hospice Niagara.
Q. When are the draws and what can I win?
There are six (6) monthly draws taking place at The Stabler Centre, 403 Ontario Street, Unit 2, St. Catharines, Ontario, at 3:00 p.m.
Each draw features:
• A guaranteed minimum prize of $2,500, or 50% of ticket sales when sales exceed $5,000.
• Three (3) Early Bird Draws of $1,000 each.
• Bonus Draws of $1,000 in December and March.
Draw Schedule:
• Draw #1: Nov 24, 2025 → Early Bird Draws: Nov 3, 10, 17
• Draw #2: Dec 29, 2025 → Early Bird Draws: Dec 1, 8, 15. Bonus Draw: Dec 23
• Draw #3: Jan 26, 2026 → Early Bird Draws: Jan 5, 12, 19
• Draw #4: Feb 23, 2026 → Early Bird Draws: Feb 2, 9, 17
• Draw #5: Mar 30, 2026 → Early Bird Draws: Mar 2, 9, 23. Bonus Draw: Mar 17
• Draw #6: Apr 27, 2026 → Early Bird Draws: Apr 6, 13, 20
All ticket sales close at 3:00 p.m. on draw dates and reopen at approximately 3:00 p.m. the following day.
Q. Where does the money go?
50% of ticket sales go to the prize pot. The remaining 50% supports Hospice Niagara programs and services for individuals and families living with life-limiting illness, death, and grief. Learn more at www.hospiceniagara.ca.

Q. Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased:

• In person at Hospice Niagara (403 Ontario St., Unit 2, St. Catharines)

Q. When can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available during each monthly draw period listed above, from October 27, 2025 through April 27, 2026.
Q. What are the ticket prices?
• 1 for $10
• 10 for $20
• 100 for $50
• 250 for $100
• 500 for $175
Q. How many tickets can be sold?
There is no limit to the total number of tickets available.
Q. How do I receive my ticket?
Online purchasers will receive tickets by email within five (5) business days. Please check junk, spam, or promotions folders for “Niagara Mega 50/50 Draw” from events@hospiceniagara.ca. If not received, contact events@hospiceniagara.ca or 905-984-8242. In-person buyers receive printed tickets at the point of sale. Please KEEP your tickets as proof of purchase and eligibility to claim prizes.
Q. Can I buy tickets in someone else’s name?
Tickets must be purchased by someone 18 years or older, physically located in Ontario at the time of purchase. The primary purchaser may list up to two additional names, but only the primary purchaser is recognized as the official ticket holder and will be contacted if the ticket wins.
Q. Can I get a refund?
All sales are final. If you believe an error occurred with your purchase, contact 905-984-8766 or events@hospiceniagara.ca before the draw.
Q. Is my ticket tax deductible?
No. Charity lottery tickets are not eligible for tax receipts per CRA regulations.
Q. How can I pay for my tickets?
Online: Credit Card, Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit, Google Pay, Apple Pay.
In person: Credit Card, Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Cash (no cheques).
Q. How does BUMP generate tickets?
All aspects of the Niagara Mega 50/50 Draw are managed using AGCO-approved digital raffle software provided by BUMP.
Winning & Prizes
Q. How are winners chosen?
Winners are selected using AGCO-approved Random Number Generator (RNG) software, administered by BUMP.
Q. How will I know if I won?
Winners are notified by phone and/or email. Winning numbers are posted on www.mega5050.ca within 48 hours of each draw.
Q. How are cash prizes paid?
Cash prizes are issued by cheque and mailed within four (4) weeks following each draw.
Q. What happens to unclaimed prizes?
Unclaimed prizes are held for six (6) months. After that, they are reported to AGCO and may be redirected to charitable use.
Q. How do I claim my prize?
Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email with instructions on how to claim their prize. Prizes must be claimed within six (6) months of the draw. Only the primary purchaser is eligible to claim the prize. Please KEEP your ticket until your prize has been claimed.
Eligibility
Q. Who is eligible to buy tickets?
You are eligible if you:
• Are 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase
• Are physically located in Ontario at the time of purchase
You are not eligible if you are:
• A member of Hospice Niagara’s Board of Directors or anyone in the same household
• An employee of Hospice Niagara or anyone in the same household
• A registered gaming supplier, BUMP employee, or anyone involved with providing services to this lottery
Privacy & Publicity
Winner information will be published on the Niagara Mega 50/50 website. By claiming a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, ticket number, and photo for publicity by Hospice Niagara, in accordance with AGCO regulations.
